Explore the dynamics of GFP fusion protein expression in living cells using the ZEISS Celldiscoverer 7. This timelapse captures cellular activities in real-time, offering valuable insights into protein dynamics and cellular processes.
24hr timelapse of a co-culture of 2 populations of HEK293 cells expressing split GFP. Cells were transfected 24hrs after seeding with plasmids expressing p14, a reovirus fusogen, and a transfection marker (H2B-mRFP). The appearance of green fluorescence signals the fusion of beighboring cells and reconstitution of the split-GFP molecules in one cytoplasm. (CD7 - 20x/0,95 x0,5, Orca Flash_4.0)
